Suitable for 15-49 guests, the Rhemtide is a 76’ classic motor yacht designed by Jack Hargraves. It was refitted not once, but twice, in the year 2000 and again in 2006, to render the sense of space that the guests loved and wanted.

 

Today, this corporate vessel boasts of entertainment areas that are not only the most spacious but also the plushest in her class. An interesting fact about the Rhemtide is that it was initially named ‘Mystery’ and belonged to a private individual based in Washington DC.

While she was there, this luxury motor yacht entertained the rich and the famous, including the Kennedy family and Jacqueline Onassis. However, she was purchased by the American Airlines Arena Group who also owned the Miami Heat basketball team. As one would expect, only performers and VIP guests, right from the stadium, were hosted on this luxury motor yacht.

 

Rhemtide’s deck has been graced a by a dozen celebrities such as Peace Prize Laureate and former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev, musical celebrities Kayne West, Jay-Z, Cher, the late Luciano Pavarotti and Gloria Estefan.

 

The Rhemtide got its name in the year 2008 when it was purchased from the U.S. and refitted for Sydney Harbour Cruises. Known for its posh, air conditioned interiors, incredible deck and hi-fi entertainment system including music, TV ad VCR, make it one of the most desired cruise yachts along the Sydney harbour.
